About Lee Arrowood

Lee Arrowood is a luxury real estate advisor with Compass serving Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. She advises clients on many of the Capital Region's most significant residential properties, from historic Georgetown and Kalorama homes to architecturally significant new construction.

Before entering real estate, Lee spent more than twenty years as a senior business executive in the legal industry, helping found and grow businesses through successful acquisition. She later built her real estate career alongside one of Washington's most respected brokers, Marc Fleisher, where she developed an advisory approach grounded in strategy, negotiation and long-term client relationships.

Over the course of her career, Lee has closed more than $500 million in residential real estate transactions and has consistently ranked among Washington's top agents, including recognition by The Wall Street Journal and RealTrends as the #3 individual agent in Washington, DC.

Clients value Lee for her thoughtful counsel as much as her results. She is known for disciplined pricing, meticulous preparation and skilled negotiation, helping clients make confident decisions in an increasingly competitive luxury market. Her work is informed by a broader perspective on the economic, demographic and lifestyle forces that shape the housing market.

Beyond her client work, Lee writes a widely read weekly newsletter on the Washington luxury housing market, sharing perspectives on market trends, architecture, design and the forces shaping residential real estate.

A Washington resident since 1988, Lee first came to the city to work on Capitol Hill. She has since built her career while raising three children with her husband and remains deeply invested in the city she calls home. She serves on the Board of CitySchools Collaborative and supports organizations dedicated to expanding educational opportunity for underserved children.

Lee is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University.
